THATSFORSURE @ TAURANGA 2/1/2017

Win #2 for Tavistock mare Thatsforsure in the hands of Leith Innes.

STOLEN DANCE WIN #9 @ TAURANGA 2/1/2017

It wan't overly pretty but was typically gutsy from Nina to record her 9th win at start number 20. Next stop the Thorndon Mile.

TAURANGA DOUBLE

A great time on Janurary 2nd at Tauranga when mightly mare STOLEN DANCE and stablemate THATSFORSURE provided us with a perfect day scoring 2 winners from 2 starters!

A will to win saw STOLEN DANCE fend off 3 other opponants in the Open 1400m (a distance short of her best and after giving them all a decent headstart). This should see her nicely through to the up and coming Gr 1 races programmed for her in the coming weeks.

THATSFORSURE was given a 10/10 ride by top jock Leith Innes to secure the rating 65 1350m. He settled her nicely toward the rear and the field and waiting on a split in the home straight, which when he got through she really sprinted away to score well. A much deserved win for a mare who hasn't had a lot of luck in previous races.

Pictured below is Christine Alley a winning part owner in THATSFORSURE. Her partner Ross McLeod also has a share in STOLEN DANCE, so a great day for their household.
