DAVID GREENE (Trainer)

David is into his 12th season at Te Rapa and has produced numerous stakes winners on both sides of the Tasman including Stolen Dance, Beauty's Beast, Justamaiz, Zabisco, Flaunting & High Kin from limited runners. 

David prides himself on giving his horses the best opportunity to fulfill their potential and is very open and honest in his dealings with owners. David loves all sports and has a Bachelor of Communications degree from Waikato University.

HEIDI GREENE

Heidi starting working with racehorses early in her life, riding track work before school and strapping at the weekend races for her first boss, Grant Searle. Upon leaving school Heidi then moved north to join the Priscott Racing stables. Here, Heidi worked with some of the country's best gallopers including: Buzz Lightyear, Hill of Grace, Damaschino, and Pure Theatre. While working for Priscotts, Heidi travelled away with their racing horses (New Zealand and Australia) strapping and riding work. During this time Heidi also completed a Bachelor of Communication Studies from The University of Waikato.

After a short break overseas, Heidi and David set up their operation at Tahuna before moving to their current base at Te Rapa where Heidi manages the office and rides trackwork. Heidi also manages to find time to raise four beautiful children; Gabbi (14), Keely (12), Patrick (8) and Connor(7).

Dr Greg Quinn BVSc, Cert ES, Dip ECVS

Registered Specialist in Equine Surgery A Massey University graduate, Greg worked in mixed practice in Hawke's Bay before heading to the UK. There, he worked in a referral equine practice, then took up a residency in Equine Surgery at the University of Bristol. He gained specialist qualifications in equine surgery, completing a Royal College certificate in soft tissue surgery and later gaining his 'boards' by passing a Diploma in Surgery from the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.

After a short spell in a racing practice in Melbourne, Greg returned to the UK to work in referral hospitals. Greg's special interests and expertise are in minimally invasive surgical techniques (arthroscopy and laparoscopy), airway and sinus surgery, wound management and specialist dental surgery.

IAN (NOOTE) INNES

Ian arrived at the stables just over 4 years ago to spy on things before sending his talented mare High Kin into the stables. It is fair to say he has been a regular visitor since. Other winners Ian has raced with the stable include Dramatist, Suarez & Swiss Elle. Ian runs Racing Type who produce the bulk of the country's race books. MARSHALL STEAD (Farrier)

Marshall is a well known and well respected farrier based in the Waikato. He has been shoeing for over 35 years, specialising in racing industry. He and his wife Kristine have a keen, family interest in racing as owners, breeders, and trainers.

Marshal and Kristine have got to experience group 1 glory winning the Railway Handicap with Jacowils.

Marshall likes keeping abreast with any modern ideas in shoeing and attends yearly courses like the 'Massy and Bain Fallon' vet farrier clinic in Australia
